our 8 days long journey to Croatian island Dugi otok,
very quiet and peaceful place for those who rather enjoy lonely yet beautiful nature
than crowded places that attracts many tourists
a little break from civilization and everyday routine was just what we needed
discovering the island
late at night, talking and drinking hot tea
enjoying as little kids first time on a swing
in the middle of our pizza lunch time in the restaurant where we needed to walk few km to get to (the heat was almost unbearable), a little ladybug came by for good luck
as my dog Ela stayed at home, i needed my doggy dose, so this pekinezer-tibetan spaniel mix puppy, very cuddly one was just what i needed. he just walked to our tent by himself and of course in few seconds he was already in my arms getting hugs and kisses
this 40m high lighthouse was for sure one of the most attractive things on the whole north side of the island. the view from above was so beautiful we went to see it twice, partly also because the first time we forgot the wide angle lens
Matej's having a tiny hipster period, using my grandfather's old camera
and me on the other hand having more of an amateur period, using our new camera that is so much more easy to carry around all the time. DSLR's are sometimes so much over-rated anyway
beautiful sea bottom, perfect for diving and little underwater experimentation
on a ferry, on our way back home.
